Dori,
I listen to your show every day, but today, you were very
disgusting. Your comment about the Chilean Miners was
unacceptable..You thought it was boring and that it cut into
your favorite TV program....This makes me think twice about
you....I will probably not listen to your show anymore.
You whine alot! I have always sided with you, but today
you were disappointing.<!-- X-spaminator-passed: IP check --><!-- X-spaminator-passed: email check --><!-- X-spaminator-passed: author check --><!-- X-spaminator-strike: empty field - author url, 1 --><!-- X-spaminator-passed: author url --><!-- X-spaminator-passed: comment body -->

Hey Dave, funny eh, we will allow anyone access to healthcare in Canada! As a rule though it doesn't make the news when and where people access the health system in Canada. The reason is simple, it's not news. Sure people sometimes experience line-ups, but they always get quality healhcare and we spend very little time worrying about it. We do worry about the cost however, but anybody who has a budget should worry about costs. We worry a lot less about the costs whenever we hear news about the US system. And Lord knows we hear too much about the machinations of the American health care debate in Canada. Glad you guys finally seem to have dipped your toes in a healthcare system that is "for the people." Even Costa Rica has universal health care and publicly funded education up to second year University. Guess what, they are also among the happiest people on the planet, according to a recent study. It's was good to meet you Dave.

I have read Paul's book, and found it to be a fantastic reference for me in my studies, and recommend it to anyone interested in mushrooms period.

I have several questions for Paul and or any other mushroom expert that may know a bit about the possible cultivation of Amanita mushrooms or spores in ancient bottle-shaped pits found throughout the Guatemala Highlands. My research suggests that these pits were in fact used by the ancient Maya to cultivate mushrooms. This may be a difficult thing to prove, but I am convinced this was there purpose and would love some help. Visit mushroomstone.com
 Also is their something I should know in regards to lighting striking the ground and the sudden sprouting of mushroom all over the place??? Please reply.

Hello there, Michael ... I am a ghost from decades past.

I found your post interesting and informative - and you (as well as David) write well, with clarity and wit. Many decades have passed since we crossed paths, but it is good to see conscience alive and well in the heart.

You (might) find some of these expressions on my part of a few years back somewhat interesting:
