Steve Ballmer egged on in Hungary
May 19th
Was it a disgruntled Vista user? Or perhaps a Yahoo stockholder? Or just the Macintosh guerrillas? Whatever the reason, Steve Ballmer found himself the target of a not very accurate egg-thrower in Hungary. Fortunately for him he had a platform to hide behind.
It’s amazing to me how more democratic some other countries can be compared to the United States. In the USA this guy would have been jumped on by the authorities, pummeled and dragged off to the hoosegow. In Hungary, people watch the whole thing with a minimal amount of protest. Then the egg-thrower calmly makes his way to the aisle and is politely pointed towards the exit.
No animals or CEO’s were harmed in making this movie.
Oklahoma votes to rename the Sonics…..well, sort of
May 9th
The Oklahoman newspaper (owned by the wife of that sleazy Clay Bennett) recently had a contest to rename the Sonics if the city is successful in stealing them from Seattle.
Well, guess what name they chose? ‘Sonics’ tops ‘Pioneers’ in voting | NewsOK.com
Hmmm, that could certainly cause problems.
Well, no matter, they are probably never going to leave Seattle anyway.
That’s my prediction anyway!
